Adeline and Olivier

Falling in love is by far the most wonderful of things that can happen to anyone, In a world often filled with bad news, weddings and marriage are one of the few things that give hope, that indeed there is a meaning behind the everyday mundane scenes. There is in fact  the finding of each other at  the end of it all.

Adeline and Olivier were the first ever couple with enough trust and hope in life to commission their wedding lunch in the hands of Soil and Spice, it was my ever first wedding, and with some trepidation I took on the challenge, and really glad I did. Had immense help from my friend Clèmence Marchon on the day, where we prepared the food, served and even washed the dishes after. It was a wonderful day, set in a beautiful turn of the century house, all the tables were set simply but with exquisite taste , the photos I am posting here are a mix between what the very talented photographer called Mylène  from Les Bandits Events took , highly recommended, they are a team of professionals working towards making this a really special day, as well as the pictures Clèmence  took during the little time she had left.

The Menu was based on a convivial theme, where food was served in large platters and everyone helped themselves at the table, it brought every one together, and gave time for all the people invited to celebrate the newly weds.

Wishing the happiest of lives to this wonderful couple, it was a pleasure to cook for them, and will be eternally grateful for having got  the chance to know them.
